
Further growth in Davos - a new four star hotel opposite the congress centre. Just in time for the winter season 2012/2013 and the World Economic Forum in January 2013 the mid-scale hotel “Hilton Garden Inn” opened its doors in Davos in November 2012.
The first Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Switzerland is the ideal location for guests of the many meetings and conferences that take place in Davos. „The location is perfect for a modern mid-scale hotel. Everything is just outside the door – the congress centre, the promenade and many attractive ski slopes.
What more could a hotel operator ask for?”, said Matthias Lowin, Managing Director of Feuring who were assigned by the owner to negotiate the operator agreement with Hilton. The ground-breaking ceremony took place in the summer of 2010.
Feuring advised the owner throughout the entire project development and construction period and handled the organisation of the Steering Committee, where all relevant planning issues were discussed and agreed upon, such as the configuration and design of the 146 modern and design oriented guest rooms and junior suites.
The hotel provides a modern meeting and conference area which will strengthen Davos’ importance as a conference destination and will offer an attractive environment for meetings and events not just during the World Economic Forum, but all year round. At present, Feuring is accompanying the hotel on behalf of the owner who has assigned them to do the Operational Asset Management.
