In 2003, Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH purchased the Le Méridien Barcelona within a sale-and-lease-back transaction. The property is located on the world famous Las Ramblas and distinguishes itself by its outstanding performance on the Barcelona hotel market.
In the course of this transaction, Deka allocated and approved a substantial budget for the renovation and extension of the hotel.
After being extended to 233 rooms, the hotel shines in new splendour and, with its modern interior design and elegantly fitted rooms, will be able to further establish itself on the Barcelona market.
Feuring initiated the sale and was signed on to advice on the negotiations about the size and contents of the hotel’s renovation budget.
