Meetings in Historical Surroundings

The new InterCityHotel is being built only a few steps away from the entrance to the main railway station in Mainz.  The conference hotel with 180 rooms will open its doors in November 2008 and will close a gap in the market of the provincial capital of Rhineland-Palatinate.  Mainz has a long history and has always been – and still is – of substantial cultural and economic importance and therefore offers room for a wide variety of events.  

Both business travellers and city tourists have come to know InterCityHotels as an attractive address for overnight stays and conferences.  About two thirds of InterCityHotel guests arrive by train and appreciate the ideal location of their hotel in the city centre.  With a number of interesting weekend offers, the InterCityHotel Mainz wants to attract culturally interested people and city travellers and encourage business guests to extend their stay.  As such, the hotel will complement the touristic concept of Mainz.
