New Impulses for the Swiss Alpine Hospitality Branch

Fantastic prospects: After the opening of its resort in Berchtesgaden, Germany two years ago, the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is to operate a five star superior resort in Davos, Switzerland.  The hotel with 212 rooms and 45 luxury apartments is to be developed by the Swiss Stilli Park AG and is to open its doors in 2011.  Feuring - Visionary Hotel Development - has been commissioned to act as expert advisor to the principal right from the concept planning to the opening of the hotel.

The unique design was conceived by Matteo Thun.  The architect, who is a star amongst his kind, has designed a corpus - the exterior of might well remind the observer of a UFO with soft swinging shapes – that is sure to make history as an outstanding example of modern architecture.  The design is intended to become the subject of discussions and to stimulate the senses for modern architecture in this idyllic alpine panorama.

A fantastic location in the middle of a picturesque mountainous landscape: The resort will offer a view over the ski slopes of Davos and will fit perfectly into the alpine landscape.
