A new district in the heart of Berlin

A revolutionary concept is being contrived in one of the few remaining prime locations of Berlin.  Located opposite the chancellery and right next to Berlin’s new central station, i.e., the Lehrter Bahnhof, the development of the Lehrter Stadtquartier is entering its crucial phase.  The concept for one of the new development zone within the quarter was developed by Viador GmbH, the Joint Venture between Feuring Group and Vivico Real Estate GmbH, and is based on a mixture of hotels from different categories of the hotel industry, rounded off with a congress centre, all located in the immediate vicinity of a railway station with a direct connection to Berlin-Brandenburg International Airport, which is still in its planning phase.

The intention of the integral master plan is the interaction of several segments of accommodation facilities:  The newly created city quarters will attract all target groups with a 3-, 4- and even a 5-star hotel.  The hotel openings at the Lehrter Stadtquartier are planned for 2012 and will add roughly 1,000 rooms to the Berlin hotel market.

The congress centre, which is also planned at this location, will profit from the surrounding hotels whilst at the same time attracting guests to spend the night at one of them.  The success of the congress centre is guaranteed by the location Berlin itself, which last year could again secure the fourth place on the list of world wide locations for important events.
