The Squaire – a new world for living and working

End of 2011 two new Hilton Hotels will open within the “horizontal tower” at Frankfurt Airport

86 pillars support the building 2,500 kilometre cable were laid, the vitreous roof exists of more than 2,000 panes, the entire rental space of 140,000 square metres is divided into nine floors of 660 metres length – these are the impressive framing figures of the building “The Squaire“ at Frankfurt/Main Airport. Presumably it is one of the most interesting building complexes in Europe and shortly possibly one of the most important for the international business community. At least the owner, the real estate corporation IVG from Bonn and the Fraport AG, owner and operator of the Frankfurt Airport, assume this. Consequently they named the building concept “New Work City”. It is the declared target to create an environment, which shall inspire and motivate employees as well as care for an essential balance. Therefore one can find the infrastructure of an entire city with coffee stores, restaurants, retail stores, numerous service providers, a Medical Centre, two hotels together with fitness- and wellness areas beneath the roof. Lots of areas are already rented out, among others international entities, the Plug & Work Business- and Conference Centre, retail stores and restaurants.
