2. Collection and storage of personal data and type and purpose of use.

When visiting our website www.feuring.com, the browser used on the user’s device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in what is known as a log file.

The following information is collected without any action on the part of the user and stored until it is automatically erased:

On our web hosting and managed server systems, protocols (log files) are automatically recorded on the server for certain services. This section informs you how long these logs are kept and how you can view them.

All log files are rotated on a daily basis. The logs from the previous day are archived and remain available for the stated period. These are purely internal log files that you, as a customer, cannot access. However, you have the option to enable logging (see: “Optional settings”). Please note the information we have provided below.

We process the data described for the following purposes:

  1. to ensure the establishment of a smooth connection to the website;
  2. to ensure the convenient use of our website;
  3. to analyse system security and stability; and
  4. for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for data processing is provided by Article 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest derives from the purposes of data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your identity.

Disclosure of data

Personal data are not transferred to third parties for any purposes other than those stated below. We only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

  4. in accordance with Article 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of processing of your personal data, if you contest the accuracy of the data, if the processing is unlawful but you oppose its erasure and we no longer need the data but you require them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or if you have objected to processing pursuant to Article 21 GDPR;
  5. to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another controller in accordance with Article 20 GDPR;
  6. ) to withdraw the consent you have already granted us at any time in accordance with Article 7(3) GDPR. This has the consequence that we will no longer be permitted to continue the data processing that was based on this consent in future; and
  7. to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in accordance with Article 77 GDPR. To do so, you can typically contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace or our place of business.

6. Right to object

If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1) sentence 1(f) GDPR, you have the right in accordance with Article 21 GDPR to object to the processing of your personal data to the extent that there are grounds for this relating to your particular situation or if the objection is to direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object that we will enforce without a particular situation being specified.

When you visit our website, we use the common SSL method (Secure Sockets Layer) in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser.
